The project is situated in a prime Bristol city centre location. MCR strategically acquired the site due to the fall in demand for office space and the lack of parking available at Trelawney House that resulted in the office block being left vacant for several years. MCR transformed the disused office blocks into 37 modern, desirable apartments.
The development is in an excellent location. Bristol has an expanding population of over 428,000, and is the largest commercial centre in the South West of England, given its multiple sprawling retail facilities within its shopping districts.
It became apparent to MCR that there is a short supply of rental accommodation and buy-to-let properties, due to the lack of housing available, pushing house and rental prices up for some time. This made Trelawney House an ideal development for our portfolio.
