MCR Property Group has completed the acquisition of Blenheim Court in Solihull for just over £13 million, marking a significant addition to its expanding commercial portfolio.

The transaction was secured in a highly competitive bidding process and completed within just five days, demonstrating MCR’s ability to move quickly and decisively in acquiring high-quality assets.

Blenheim Court comprises two office buildings, Radcliffe House and Chadwick House, offering a total of 145,836 square feet of grade A workspace. Radcliffe House features 4,000–5,000 square foot office suites, while Chadwick House offers 14,000 sq ft floorplates, making it one of the most flexible office spaces in the area.

The existing high-calibre occupiers reinforce the strength of this location, and MCR is already engaging with businesses interested in taking space within the development.

Looking ahead, MCR Property Group is actively assessing all asset utilisation opportunities at Blenheim Court, with a view to a potential mixed-use scheme in the future. Given its prime location and flexible layout, the site presents an ideal opportunity for a blend of commercial and residential uses. Plans include the development of over 200 apartments, further enhancing its long-term value and contribution to the local economy.

This is MCR’s third major commercial acquisition of 2025, following CityPark in Glasgow and Moorside in York, and reflects the firm’s continued focus on securing high-quality, well-located office developments with strong fundamentals and growth potential.

Martin Brown, of MCR Property Group commented:

"Blenheim Court is a standout acquisition for us, not only because of its strong location but also because of the speed and efficiency with which we secured the deal. This transaction highlights the strength of MCR’s model; our ability to act quickly and our in-house asset management team’s immediate integration into the running of the development.

We are proud to take on this grade A office complex and look forward to working closely with businesses to provide high-quality, flexible workspace in a fantastic part of the country. At the same time, we recognise the site's potential for a broader vision, and we will be exploring future opportunities that align with our strategy for dynamic, mixed-use developments."

Solihull is widely recognised as one of the UK’s best locations for businesses, offering outstanding transport links, a thriving economy, and a high quality of life.

Its proximity to Birmingham International Airport, the M42, and a skilled local workforce makes it a prime destination for office occupiers.

MCR’s hands-on approach to asset management ensures that Blenheim Court is well-positioned to continue attracting top-tier tenants while offering flexible, high-specification office space that meets the evolving needs of modern businesses.
