MCR PROPERTY GROUP REVS UP INDUSTRIAL PORTFOLIO WITH THE PURCHASE OF FORMER LOLA CARS HQ

MCR Property Group has acquired 65,000 SQ ft industrial space in the former headquarters of iconic racing car brand Lola Cars.

Situated in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, the currently vacant development stretches across 2.4 acres and  equipped with three main buildings consisting of industrial space, offices and showrooms, spread across two floors and two separate buildings to the rear.

MCR Property Group’s, Martin Brown comments: “Cambridgeshire is a region with a well-established skilled workforce and global operators. In order to meet the ever-growing demand for quality industrial space, we intend to invest £1.5m over the next 12 months redeveloping this historic site.”

The purchase of Lola House is MCR Property Group’s 4th commercial acquisition of 2022, which takes MCR’s UK portfolio to over 5 million sq ft of industrial space, and the developer states it’s just the beginning of their long line of investments for the year. The industrial asset joins the extensive portfolio of MCR, who have secured similar sites nationwide. Lola House is their second asset in the area.
